Deborah Newburn (BSocSci, Hons (Psych), MSocSci (Psych), PGDip Clin Psych, MAPS) is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has expertise in working with adults with eating disorders. She has worked in a specialist eating disorder service and has exceptional clinical skills treating anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. Deborah has worked across public and private settings with adults experiencing serious, moderate, and mild mental illness. Deborah is also experienced in treating depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and a range of anxiety disorders including social anxiety, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Deborah works in a compassion focussed manner and supports clients to understand themselves and their experiences in a safe and supportive environment. She uses a range of evidence-based approaches to assist her clients to make changes which reduce symptoms and suffering and improves their quality of life.

Dr Jake Linardon, PhD, is the founder of Break Binge Eating and a Research Fellow and Lecturer of Psychology at Deakin University, Melbourne Australia. He studies the causes, consequences, and treatments for eating disorders. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on eating disorders, and serves as an editorial board member for the International Journal of Eating Disorders.
